Great course, very informative for both private and professional purposes!
The team provides in-depth knowledge of first aid and the basics of emergency medicine using the well-known ABCDE scheme. However, what makes this course special is that they present this information in their own specially designed format, which is even easier to remember. I participated both as a member of a humanitarian aid organization and privately as a mountain enthusiast, and I can highly recommend it! I feel prepared and more confident in my ability to react in an emergency.

Highly recommended! The two instructors (Merten and Thorsten) provide very clear examples and create a sense of security in the field, as well as in private life, through highly authentic scenarios. I've been a soldier for 20 years and also have experience in the outdoors, including long-distance hiking, but I still learned a great deal and am glad I participated in the training. Thank you both! With Torsten and Merten, you have two fantastic instructors here! We were taught first aid according to the ABCDE scheme in a very short time. The theoretical instruction was presented in such a way that falling asleep or drifting off was completely impossible. The practical part was outstanding. There were many situational training exercises that challenged us, allowed us to apply what we had learned, and helped us develop our skills.

I'll book my next refresher course with Hinterland Medics :)

By far the best intensive first aid course I've ever taken in the outdoor and travel sector. Extremely clear and comprehensive, with constant scenarios and case studies. Participants were sometimes elaborately made up and prepared to make each scenario as realistic as possible. The procedures were repeatedly demonstrated and practiced, ensuring that the participants internalized the situations and their corresponding actions. Simply fantastic. The two instructors, Torsten and Merten, did a superb job.
